I saw the poor guy running down the road as I was driving the other way. Thought he looked like his shirt was covered in blood but didn’t really register with me what I was seeing until my old man told me he’d seen the guy lying on the floor surrounded by loads of people.

Yikes. I saw the police vans on the way in and thought it was an over-reaction for a game against Hull. On the walk back my daughter pointed out the stains on the pavement, but it was too dark to be sure…but there was an awful lot. |  | | |
