So... Let me get this straight. You are judging Frey based on:
1) 30 minutes of football
2) Hardly played in an age and been training with youngsters
3) Been training with us for less than a week
Ok, well I am truly at a loss. Plenty here said he was 'miles off it' but no one actually wrote him off after 30 mins  |
The other thing is we were sitting back by that point so he was pretty isolated covering pretty much the whole of their half by that point, which is clearly not his game. We need him in the penalty area largely. I think he’ll be good at dead ball situations, getting on the end of crosses, making a nuisance of himself with defenders etc. Like a better Chris Martín, and what we’ve been crying out for., with Chair and Smyth pinging in crosses that no one gets on the end of.
And I’m sure he’ll get fitter than he is now. |  | | |

Maybe you didn't "hope" he'd be well rested but running around like a dog chasing plastic bags in a windy car park.... plenty of others might have done.
