Mara over Adams? 20:29 - Feb 10 with 866 viewsfelly1

Never thought I'd be saying this until recently I thought Mara was lame.
Loved being proved wrong about this, long may it continue.
I'd be getting worried if I was Adam Armstrong as well.
Brooks is quality, Edozie and Sully can make an impact.
Armstrong worked hard today but, offensively he was poor.

Mara was brilliant when he came on.

Poll: After Nick's revelation, would you welcome back Danny Ings?

Goals = Confidence in a forward.

RM says he's brilliant too, he bigs up all our players and they seem to be flourishing under this manager.

You can see that at the end of games.

Fair play he does look to be growing in confidence and as a player
Looks completely different to the player he was against Watford

I think he and AA could be a good partnership

I cannot quite believe i am saying this but I put it down to RM because the way I see it BOTH players have improved:
Che seems now to be under much less pressure to score goals - although I am sure he still wants to - but is there now much more to draw the oppo, give them the run around, get them knackered and lay off to others as he did brilliantly to Mara on Tuesday. Whereas Sekou has got much more speed, and yes he still cocks it up - as he did against Rotherham several times before he scored - but is increasingly becoming more tactically and positionally aware as he showed yesterday with his late goal.
So hats off to RM for IMHO making them both better and mercifully, as others have said, bigging them up (justifiably) and making them much less likely to look to move.
