I see what you mean, but the quality isn't around him, I see him as a player with plenty to give and he's unable to because of who he's got around him, his positional sense was mentioned on another thread, its not there because of frustration he's trying to be a master of all trades at the minute, he's back in front of the back four then he's trying to get forward, there's no one there for him, you saw it with Bony in front of him he knew he was there and could keep the ball. I agree. I think Mesa is a good player but he needs Fulton next to him defensively. Mesa is aggressive so does win the ball but with how little Fer and Carroll are offering as cover of the midfield we need someone else in there. I know we have huge creative problems but it often takes one pass to bypass our midfield. [Post edited 26 Dec 2017 23:30]
