Hill: We were superb
Sunday, 29th Sep 2013 18:52 by Col

Despite the Wycombe comeback, Keith Hill was a very pleased manager with some of our play at the weekend.

Speaking after the game, Hill said to the press: "We started superbly and momentum swung because, on a couple of occasions, our players were negligent in possession. Once momentum swings away from you it is very difficult to wrestle it back and that was the situation we found ourselves in having earlier been in a comfortable position, being three goals to the advantage.

"Did we deserve to win? Of course we did. The scoreline could have been anything. We weren't bad defensively, we just gave the ball away in two vulnerable areas when in possession and that's what disappointed me because I trust the players not to give it away or show the opposition a lack of respect.

"But we did more than enough to win the game and at times I thought we were superb."
