Someone will be interested in Wood. Leeds perhaps? An England U 21 player only 21 with a good number of championship games under his belt and good physically attributes. Such options are rare.

The club have invested in a beefed up recruitment with a global perspective. This is a new approach above and beyond last summer as I understand it.

I see no reason to be negative. Williams is clearly very much on board

Gyorkeres was a Swansea flop too remember? A Whittaker remember him. Decent recruitment snubbed by managers with a short term outlook.

It is not clear if Kuharevych and Njoe and On are complete busts. Pederson is versatile and experienced.

Key, Tymon and Ronald are sound signings. Peterson can play CB if Wood goes. Loans were not great admittedly but they are young players by definition. The club flip flopped styles which did not help them

He was sold for £11m. A lot of people criticised Winter but it was a good deal in hindsight. I read it could go to £15m if he was sold on for more. Sadly this is not happening.

This is good news. If Swansea just recycle championship regulars like Patterson Lowe and co it will result in middle table obscurity and eye popping losses as average Joe's demand wages of half a million and blow hot and cold. Read Stoke city.

Far better to get some hungry youngsters desperate to get to the PL like Ronald with a big upside. Sadly it looks as it some of the local u21 do not have the hunger and have not used thee long contracts given to them to hone their skills.

Ki do not know what is happening with Broome. I a only recall him playing once all year. Hopefully fresh start good pre season and in the first team squad.

I met her once lovely lady. She has gone. Senior managers job is the verify things are done properly not do the jobs themselves. They carry responsibility. Coleman wanted help on top of what Winter had. He justified it to Levien who accepted his reasoning it seems.

The main thing is to improve performance and slash losses. Getting Wood out of the door for a good feeling would be a good start, settling the Martin claim etc.

Perhaps somebody in the ownership group brought this one home. Perhaps it was the LLP.

Just read the Q and A. There are all sorts of jobs to be done. God knows what? Corporate governance stuff
Data systems appraisals appointments dismissals h&S plans. Setting up codes of practice. Safeguarding reviews of practices EFL requirement meeting agents checks on agents. Iso standards adherence.

They have 100 children in the academy and now have taken female teams.

The list goes on and on . Plenty to do.

I posted the Trust Q and A piece. He gave answers in his own words. Corporate speak of course.

Raising commercial revenue was one. You will notice the Owners have brought in the "Come to South Florida" advert on the shirts. Perhaps there will be new sponsors on kits or training tops this season? Fans complained when the commercial team was local and small.

I cannot explain what the CEO of Tata Steel does but that does not mean he is playing golf all day.

It is insulting to make these references continually. You are buying into a anti Yank narrative.

The previous forum ownership built up a narrative that the US owners would never invest and would cut and run at the earliest opportunity . It was FAKE.

"They will go when the parachutes end" " they will never invest" they will never be based in Swansea" they " will never meet the fans".

All wrong just like the legal case. "A rock solid case " remember ? Except it was not.

Time to stop believing people on forums. Had anyone seen them golfing?

78 years old. It is not surprising there are signs of water and tear. I would have thought the thread would have gone down the Elaine Page route given the same surname. Same vintage.

England look very solid as you would expect and Bellingham is pure class. Cullen would have got no where near that header but I am being told he always gives 100%.

They are however like all England teams rather mechanical without a game winner like the French guy. Usually the team with these guys wins

It is sport. Hoping your local rivals fall over embarrassingly is not narrow minded. I am not a typical Swansea fan. I want England to fail and am not bothered about Cardiff city.

The Unionist flag wavers hate Cardiff city and all things Cardiff. more than most but do not see themselves as narrow minded. On the other hand any quip against England is jumped on. They are generally against the Senedd which Wales has waited 600 years for.

I am ambivalent about England and want them to lose. Just like the flag wavers want Cardiff to lose. It seems quite straight forward. Bluebird bashing fits very nicely with an Anglophile Second city agenda. Even the airport which is 30 mins from Cardiff and 45 mins from Swansea gets it.

These guys are wealthy professionals not labourers that have won the lottery. They are here to work and prove themselves. There is no jolly paid for by Morris and the LLP.

Why are you so sure the club is paying for his family? Have you seen his contact. If he was dead keen to come he would not necessarily ask for relocation expenses. If he was head hunted and the club were desperate to get him then they would need incentives.

Each case is different.

It depends on Watson' s work. For the first time I can remember the club has put a big emphasis on recruitment. The US people have realised how important it is.

Recruitment was low key in the Jenkins era. No one knew who David Ledbettef was and he liked it that way.

Page said one penalty kick from qualifying. It must be actually two kicks. Page is not right enough to see this. Poland did not miss a kick. If James had scored there would have been at least two more PKs. Details count and Page is sloppy and messed up his subs.
