Sheepshanks Set to Step Down From FA Board Monday, 4th Apr 2011 21:42 by TWTD.co.uk Former Town chairman David Sheepshanks will step down from the FA board this summer to concentrate on his role with the National Football Centre at Burton, according to reports. Sheepshanks, who remains a director of Town as well as the chairman of the PLC which owns 12.5% of the club and also the Charitable Trust, is one of two FA board representatives from the Football League, along with Barnet’s Tony Kleanthous, who could lose his position if the Bees are relegated to the Blue Square Bet Premier. Sheepshanks took over as chairman of the St George's Park project at Burton just over a year ago.
