On the bill are the widely acclaimed The Raymond and Mr Timpkins Revue, Canadian comic Sean Collins, who has appeared on Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow on BBC One and Andy Askins. 'It's a fantastic gesture from the comics who are appearing,' said Ashley, ' I am really pleased with the quality of the line up and I hope people support the show, which promises to be excellent.' The mission is to raise money and galvanise support for a community owned Portsmouth Football Club by holding a festival of events all over the city and surrounding areas during the summer of 2013. Pompey has an amazing local music scene with hundreds of different acts. Some of us love Portsmouth Football Club and others just want to play at one of our events and have fun! Throughout July the festival will become one of Portsmouth's most unique community fundraising projects bringing a love of Pompey and music together across the whole city.
