I'm sure I read earlier this season that Hearts had radically reduced the size of their away end because demand for the home crowds had rocketed, so they wanted more of their fans in.

Everyone plays each other so many times until they are all bored stiff and sick of the sight of each other at the prospect of St Mirren v Kilmarnock for the fifth time this season.
Then they have a summer off and get ready to do it all over again.
No wonder they drink so much, having to deal with that.
The Championship to League 2, as they now call it having copied us, is also bonkers, with 10 teams each of everyone getting sick of the sight of each other rather than having bigger leagues, then a sort of pyramid below but the leagues below have to all play off against each other until just one remains, in a sort of Battle Royale situation, to play the team at the bottom of League 2 who they generally absolutely batter because those lower leagues are a much better standard than Scottish League 2, and the League 2 side disappears into those lower leagues never to be seen again (see Albion Rovers, Cowdenbeath, Berwick Rangers, East Stirlingshire etc...)
The promoted side then seems to rocket up the leagues a bit showing how much better those "non-league" teams are than the league sides, until they run out of momentum and the cycle continues.
Or something like that. |

F1 is gradually becoming the Formula 1 American Championship, might as well just make it the American Premiership too. The Rugby Premiership has already been there, maybe we should send The Hundred there too... |

I was in the York Outlet Centre last week and in the Puma store they had York City home and away kits, which are made by Puma. That sort of arrangement is a bit more common than a club having its own shop.
Although York City shirts in York makes a lot more sense than QPR shirts in Newcastle! |

There's a reason outside of the biggest clubs in the country that no-one has club stores in their city/town centres - the costs are astronomical and they'd make no money from it.
Nothing in Leicester for City or Tigers, although they are both close enough to the city centre anyway.
No way in a million years would QPR be able to justify a store in Westfield. |

Worth noting those on the direct debit scheme will continue to have their ticket automatically renewed unless you tell the club otherwise. You have to scroll down a bit to find that, I don't know why they don't put it in the main spiel.
Just as well as the "My QPR / My Seat" page linked off the club's article continues to show me all my 23/24 info rather than anything for 24/25!

Jeff is welcome to not pay for the Patreon if that is his preference.
However, by typing "F in cheek asking for money to join, bollax to that" and thinking it won't generate any sort of reaction is idiotic to say the least. It is also incredibly rude and makes you look a horrible person - which Jeff may be happy with, his choice.
I give hours up of my time every week for my running club and local running league. My choice, but if I could monetise that sh*t I'd do it like a shot.
I'm not on Patreon and I keep thinking I should then I forget about it - I go through spells where I post on LFW a lot and then disappear for a while because thats just how life is for me. |

Andersen and Hayden are two very different players that complement each other. Hayden was a massive improvement on the midfielder you stick in front of the back four to be the ball winner, Andersen a massive improvement on an attacking midfielder to sit behind the attack and create.
Both massive upgrades on what we had before, both hugely important parts played in our recovery.
Piano carrier and piano player as Holloway used to say, you can't have one without the other. We may have moved on from 90s/00s football but I think there's still a lot of truth in that statement.
Also, Hayden's presence (and Colback's once we got a run of games out of him) allowed Field to flourish rather than having to dash around everywhere trying to clean up everyone else's incompetent mess. |

Marti himself has been on record saying he likes to keep Willock close in games which is very coded language in how he has to manage him. The guy is obviously talented and Marti has managed to get enough performances out of him to keep us up, but also he does blow very hot and cold and also had a very public bollocking from Marti in that Norwich game showing that its not all roses when it comes to working with him. |

I dont think its anything more than a few players who have probably been working very hard but been squad players these last few months being given the chance to have a full game today, when there was nothing riding on it for the club. Same goes for Cannon/Walsh/Dixon-Bonner etc.
