After featuring heavily for Dale during the pre-season friendlies, it was no surprise that Dale boss Steve Eyre has added Paul Marshall to his ranks - at least on a short term basis. He joins Dale on non contract terms, which will allow him to feature for Dale in League and Cup games whilst hoping to impress for a longer term deal with the club. Marshall spent last season with Walsall having had previous spells with Man City, Port Vale, Aberdeen and Blackpool.
