The most unusual setting for a game I ever attended was in Accra; Ghana v Jamaica about 25 years ago .... suspect it has changed a lot since then, but was almost surreal.
Many Jamaicans live in Ghana so, even though it was a friendly, there was a large 'away' support.
The 'refreshment outlets' consisted of ladies with huge trays balanced on their heads stacked up with fruit and soft drinks walking around in the crowd selling stuff.

They were, it does seem they are no more though. But at least more real than...well, their own philosophy of course!
