We might not need any more for the DS, but we do need at least one who is ready for the first team NOW. We can’t get by with just JD, Cook and Morrison. Wishful thinking maybe, but I can’t help thinking our fantastic 1 point in 9 over Xmas might have helped in Saints no longer considering us as a potential play-off rival and more likely to let him go? Madness to even think that, I know, but they don’t know us as well as we all do! |

I told a Whammer I know we sold out our 9000 allocation in a couple of hours, so he trotted out the usual “Well, it’s a cup final for you, innit”. I just told him that the 3rd round usually is for us, whoever we play. Not as if we won’t be going back next season, by the looks of it. We think we’re a basket case, but Sh-t atmosphere aside, even we would struggle to fck up a situation where we’d been given a 60,000 seater stadium for nothing, fill it most weeks and still get relegated. Um, wouldn't we? |

It amazes me how many posters still indulge this bloke. I’ve had him on ignore for months. Anyway, good lad, Rayan! Let’s hope he gets a few more appearances under his belt after today. |

Rangers Bingo #110: Conceding within the first minute of the 2nd half. You could see it coming as soon as we lost a tackle in midfield and they broke away. Cook ball-watching, allowing Sargeant to pull away from him. Then the only way he was not going to score was if his own bloke got in the way. I know we play the self-defeating “Charity Park Rangers” card a bit much, but we have conceded goals straight after HT like this for as long as I can remember. How on earth can they come out for the 2nd half and just let Norwich walk through them so easily. Tw4ts |

We are NOT going to fck this up today, I can feel it. 3-0 to our totally unique, lovable nut-case, beautiful team. [Post edited 26 Dec 2025 12:25]

TINA! TINA! He used to laugh about that in later years. I recall a home (v Saints?) when he was getting some fairly mild reminders, he just thought it was a laugh, waved us off at the end and got a big cheer from us. |

Does anyone have a link to his pre-game interview? I can’t find it anywhere. Sounds like it was quite interesting …. which makes a change from the usual platitudes you get. Thx in advance. |

WAAAAAA! Just got in from walking the dog, didn’t take my phone and, well, you know somethings up when you’ve got messages from mates who support other teams. Thin i’ll spend a pleasant 10 mins scrolling through the Fred |

I’m not a massive Nick Cave fan, but Jubilee Street is one that fits the OPs criteria. The female backing vocals that kick in toward the end are just perfect. |

Another vote for the 4-1 thumping of Spuds. We were actually one down at HT but man, how we swamped them in the second half, so much so that Tel said some time afterwards that we were the best footballing side in the country. Super Ray’s diving header will always be one of my favourite goals, bless him. IIRC, it was the season after the Gurnham Singh game, too. We were sh-t hot in a 3-0 win at Goodison, Bradley Allen hatrick, Wilkins was unplayable, then Les decided he’d had enough and went on a brilliant run, only to thump it over the bar towards the end. I think we were better in that one than the 5-3 win there before it, but I was sat on my hands in both games as I was in the home stands with my Blue Nose mate. |

I feared the worst at 3-0 after only 55 mins. No doubt Boro are a better team but I would have liked us to shore up the midfield for this one and made it at least a bit more difficult for them to break us down. Ho hum, back to watching Tuesdays highlights. Safe trip home to the faithful who made that long old journey. |
