Fantastic win and performance.

Definitely not a time to be negative but a little gripe in that had we just survived injury time last week we would currently be sitting in the play offs - but fantastic to not let our heads go down following that shock

Genuinely wouldn't be surprised if we see double digit bids for him in the summer.

May be the high of that game but he seems to have the class of a Premier League player for me - cannot believe I am writing that after last season.

My biggest worry is we've used our decent half for a 0-0.

Unfortunately we never seem to get a full decent performance, and like Wrexham last week, you'd suspect Coventry won't be as bad.

Well this time in the reverse game we were 5-0 down.

Progress.

True, and barring the obvious anomaly (guess who), you'd be pretty gutted to miss out on promotion after such a strong start to the season.

Just come on here to say the exact same thing. For a team eight points clear of 3rd and playing against a team they beat 7-1 in the reverse fixture, they sound more pessimistic than some QPR fans under Ainsworth.

I personally find it very strange, but they have had their fair share of agonising Premier League promotion attempts, so letting it slip from their position in December would be pretty disastrous.

Although saying that, I may potentially end up watching 180 minutes of Southampton vs Portsmouth this season and not see one goal scored.

Already been through that enough this week, I'm hoping the second half brings me something

Spent five minutes confused trying to figure out where it was. Went onto Sky Sports Football, nothing there. Turned to Main Event assuming it's been put on there, still nothing. For me it's the biggest game of the day!

Great atmosphere in Portsmouth vs Southampton. Love watching a derby that's not been around for a long time.

Millwall Vs West Ham should be a belter next season - whatever league they are in

Minus Goal Difference
at 18:32 24 Jan 2026

I understand it's probably not the most relevant discussion point today - but what is it with QPR and our fixation with having a minus goal difference?!

I'm sure some stats person can correct me if I'm wrong, but from some quick research I believe the last time we had a positive goal difference (excluding 0) was DECEMBER 28TH 2022. Just over three years ago.

This season we have been teetering on it for about two months, but can't seem to get into positive numbers.

If anything it demonstrates that we are much more prone to a thrashing than a demolition job.

I don't know why, but I find it infuriating.

Went from dreaming of Wembley to wondering if we have enough to stay up within 2 minutes.

The QPR way.

Form Guide:
at 22:52 22 Jan 2026

Win on Saturday and we could be 2nd in the form guide over the last four, being unbeaten in all and potentially keeping a clean sheet in all of them.

Think you can pick and choose form guides to suit narratives - why does the past six have more of an effect on the past 4/8/12? The past 28 form guide has us 12th, 3 points off play offs.

I understand there has been some poor performances recently, but I see it as an injury hit mid table team, having a typical mid table team blip - which every team will have gone through. Frustrating? Yes. But a real worry? Let's be concerned if we are still playing like this in 10 games with all the team back

Last Four Matches vs Oxford

Quality wise over points/return. That 2-0 at home was one of the worst games I've watched, and the two 0-0s have somehow been worse. Only one of any glimmer of football quality has been the 3-1.

Has there ever been a worse run of games between two teams in the history of football?

Each one has somehow got worse than the one before.

Feels a bit frustrating to see Hull, a team who have been in a similar position to us for seasons on end, including last year, 3-0 up and flying at Preston to further cement their play off spot, whilst we try to scrape a 0-0 draw at Oxford.

Win this and we can potentially go 7th, why does it feel like we are content with a point?

A cold, wet Saturday afternoon in Stoke – Preview

Great write up and definitely good news in the long term.

For some reason the Eze goal against Stoke on opening day of the season stands out for me most when looking back at games.

Unfortunately, my Palace memory is Phillips' thunderbolt after being 3-0 down at half time.

Extra Time/Player Welfare

I do agree in part that our players did look surprisingly knackered even before extra time, but even still, we had to play an extra game compared to West Ham during the festive period, and do not have the luxury of bringing players such as £20m Soucek and £15m Kyle Walker Peters off our bench to take over.

I could have seen us winning the replay, and with Walsh being a good shot stopper I could have also seen us having a chance on pens.
