Faking injuries is the big one. I think if a player rolls around on the pitch like they've been shot and then get up as if nothing has happened it should be in the rules that the ref is allowed to kick them in the nuts.
Although I do remember Uncle Albert actually in tears after he scored twice against us years ago at Loftus Road. Two moments when you could almost see him screaming 'I hate my job!' Obviously Albert wasn't a journeyman.
Honestly his face and off mic words after their second goal probably summed up what we all felt. Poor lad has completely fallen into the QPR heaven and hell net.
I find most of the gongs baffling. A friend of mine, former Royal photographer, Beatles photographer, etc has raised about £20 million for charities donating his photos for auctions, served on council committees to try and help homeless people and done so much for the community and is consistently overlooked. Similarly, my friend Ollie has done so much as a young person with Down Syndrome to raise awareness of the ability of people with disability and is again overlooked.
I've supported QPR for over 50 years, that's got to be worth some kind of medal?
There is definitely something there but totally agree he needs a proper loan out in League 1 to get up to speed and get pro minutes. I'm not so sure that he's possibly a better flat out left winger than a left back. We'll see but a loan is very much what he needs.
Well, we suggested he needed to freshen it up in this 4 games in 10 days thing and I guess he tried to, albeit it turned out to be a clusterf*ck. I wonder if he'd started the same 11 and we lost 2-1 if we would have had everyone screaming that he needed to change it up?
I think Stephan needs to see that Varane is out of form and that Hayden is not only a better player but also a very experienced head to have in the midfield. Like he's the most experienced player in the squad. Play him! Also Smyth at the moment is better than Saito. Saito is again off form and Smyth is again one of our more experienced players. Play him!
With Norwich and Sheffield Wednesday at home you would hope that both Smyth and Hayden start. They need to if we are going to get past those two teams. Probably need Cook back for the next two. Putting Norwich and Wednesday away would be a big start to our year and we have to play experience to get past those two and not f*ck that up.
For me Morrison is a must keep. He will come good again and he's definitely a profitable prospect if we nurture him here. He's 22!!! A kid so absolutely the type of player we build around. He's also the only person I know born on the same day as me, so for that reason, he must stay!
I think if we get anywhere near 70 points this season it would have been a massive step in the right direction. I'm going to say we'll get 65+ and be in the top 10. Although there are a few posters on here who would then say sack everyone and sell the club for parts, a top 10 finish would be major progress for us to build upon.
We've had our arses kicked by Boro and Coventry so far so anyone who thinks we may be ready for a play off place could be dreaming a bit. That said, we are a better outfit this year than we have been for 3-4 years and certainly shouldn't be afraid of anyone really below the top 2.
