"Also, if you're a rich Arab feeling left out, you can buy us and get us in the Prem as we have it all apart from the new stadium, which you can name after yourself once you build it. In addition, we are near a world-class airport for your private jetS to fly into." Surely you wouldn't want us to become another Citeh or Newcastle? |

Good point re our owners. They quietly get on with financing our club as much as they can in contrast to other club owners. |

I knew Cooper's form had dropped over this season, but I wasn't expecting him to get the boot. We've got a lot of keepers in the house at the moment. [Post edited 14 Jan 19:46]

I've not seen any new injury updates. Perhaps Stephan will give one in his pre match. I think the only possible returnee would be Morrison. |

Can anyone outline what additional infrastructure/facilities are needed at the training ground for us to qualify for Cat 1? |

We seem to have some kind of thing going with Bracknell. Not only is McDowell there, but Jack Coombes is too, and McCann was there late last year. |

And there's Alex Wilkie too. Smith and Akindileni seem the most likely of those 5 DS CBs to succeed at QPR but there's no certainty they will. |

As I understand it, if there's a recall clause in the loan agreement he can come back this month. However, I'd be surprised if that happened. He's just not good enough for the Championship and I'm not even sure he'll make it in L1. |

A loan for Morrison may not be a bad idea. He'd get the regular playing time he wants and it would free up a space for Smith on the bench. Reassess things in the summer. |

But having the two Ks as double keepers might work. |

That's a fascinating link re hamstring injuries, particularly that it's training-related hamstring injuries that have increased rather than match-related injuries. And all the while, more and more fitness experts and sports scientists are recruited to coaching teams. It appears they're handling the hamstring issue poorly. |

"I also think he is more a in and around the box striker." I've banged on about this since he came. I'm still mystified why Stephan plays him as the second striker. His strengths are quite clearly suited to being a classic no 9. |

Yep, it's the next 4 remaining games this month that'll be a challenge. After that, we *should* should players beginning to return. It's going to be a chance for players like fringe players like Morgan and Vale to get on the pitch and DS players such as Bennie and Sutton to get minutes. |

Our fans were brilliant today - loud and proud in that utterly awful stadium. Rs fans turn up in great numbers on occasions like that. There's such a love and connection among us with our lovely West London club. There were 10 of us there together. We had great fun before, during and after the game despite the result. Had we a full strength side playing, it would have been a different outcome. |

It all makes me wonder if the reason Edwards has left Soton is more about a clash of personalities than his playing ability. |
