Winter break, nah we put extra games in over Christmas and three match weeks in January! I'd look at reducing those but not a break. When would you schedule it? The weather can be very bad in January and February, sometimes from late November to late March. Wet and windy can happen throughout the year. Having a break would add to late season fixture pile ups. |

Thanks Clive, I thought it was a marginally better performance than Stoke but as you say the opposition was probably inferior, albeit with a new manager to motivate them One important block that I think should be praised was Madsen's. He got back and got his leg across the ball in one of their late counters, when Dembele gave it away, I think. With an extra day to rest, recover and prepare, I am hoping for an improvement in performance and a much needed win on Saturday. The questions you ask about Julien's decisions, I understand and have similar thoughts. The only mitigation I can offer, is that it is incredibly difficult to change a 0-0. The defensive shape of the team is mostly very good and subs risk upsetting that and possibly ending in a defeat. Nevertheless, in attack he has to do more. He flogged Burrell to an injury. Some of us were saying, he had lost his edge, was exhausted and needed a rest before he broke down. Similar could happen to Kone if we don't reduce his minutes. It now seems that we have at least three other options up front in Kolli, Bennie and the new guy. We have always had Smyth to try in that role too. So Julien act now and don't repeat the mistake. |

It tends to be overlooked that his 'rebirth' came when he was recalled, by Marti, at Oxford last season. A game in which he played well, we won and virtually ended our relegation battle. |

I think Clive's been a bit busy.😁 |

Putting Esquerdinha in, instead of Field is a positive but very risky selection. Kolli and RND struggling for fitness, so no surprise to me that they are benched. Cooke doing well to play Saturday - Tuesday. |

New manager for them, second chance to win at home after 0-0 on Saturday. We suffered something similar when we were beaten by Norwich. It's a tricky fixture and we will have to play much better, if we are to get anything. Why not start with Adamson and Esquerdinha wide, with Smyth up front with Kone/Kolli? |

Good info but wasn't the interest rate 'artificially low' in 2021 due to trying to 'kick start' the economy after the pandemic? |

Delusional is when you still think it's 1976, Stan is at the top of his game and football, which is more important to you than Queens Park Rangers, hasn't moved on. |

With most of the wingers injured, it might be a good time to try three at the back with Mbengue and RND or Esquerdinha as wing backs. Smyth up front with Kone. Kolli off the bench. Morgan or Hayden, Madsen and Field in midfield. |

Is it? At a glance, I thought it was better. Investment Terms 3-Year Bond 8% interest per annum, comprising 5% cash and 3% Club Credit (redeemable on tickets & merchandise) 25% cash bonus if QPR are promoted to the Premier League during the bond term IFISA eligible for tax-free returns for UK taxpayers 5-Year Bond 8% interest per annum, comprising 6% cash and 2% Club Credit (redeemable on tickets & merchandise) 25% cash bonus if QPR are promoted to the Premier League during the bond term IFISA eligible for tax-free returns for UK taxpayers It was 5%+3% last time. The five year rate at 6%+2% is arguably slightly better. |

I've went to my first game in 1970, so similar number of years. I think we are going with the current 'flow' or trend. I think it's something all successful teams have done over that period and probably before. Don Revie's Leeds, England World Cup and Man U European cup with Nobby, Shankley's Liverpool with Tommy Smith. Fouling, offside traps, back passes |

Don't you think that Stan, Gerry, Dave Clement, Ian Gillard, Frank McClintock and Webby, Ray Wilkins were prepared to do what was necessary in their day. Tommy Doherty certainly wasn't a saint. and neither was El Tel. The football was more entertaining as they were more talented than our current players but they could grind out results with offside traps and back passes, when they needed to. |

For too long it was done to us and we were soft and easy. I can remember a referee being quoted, on here a few years back that we were easy as we didn't question things, were generally accepting of things and well behaved. Stepping outside of Alice in Wonderland for just a minute, until it's eradicated from the game, if others are doing it, we mustn't be taken advantage of. Yes it's annoying and cheating but I'm glad we have woken up from our slumber and joined the erm 'party'. The days of us rolling over are, hopefully, behind us. |

Well as has already been pointed out, it is a matchday squad of 20 so it is clearly a lot more than you are alluding to. Btw Morrison was named as a starter against Sheffield Wednesday before his injury. |

He was but they got off lightly on the card count whereas we had Mbengue booked, in a fit of pique by Donohue, for trying to free himself from being held by Pearson. Sorba Thomas going around angry all afternoon and taking cynical revenge on Kone. A couple of pull backs not carded, including one of theirs who was already on a yellow. I think he realised how poorly he was reffing the game and became determined not to attract more criticism, if he dared to send off a home player. |

Say something again and again, ad nauseum, and it becomes fact! He's been told by several posters but refuses to accept it was many more. Anyone a bit less dogmatic and doubling down on their statement, would look at the bench yesterday and see some names that have never featured or only recently been in the matchday squad. They might then modify their comments and other fans might be more receptive. But no not SE. No chance. Never. He's always right. ....and before any response from him, no I don't want to go to bed. |

With respect, stopping the clock isn't the answer. 'sh1tbousery' isn't just about running the clock down. It's about breaking up the rhythm of the game to annoy and frustrate your opponent and their fans. It's about taking a breather when you need one. It's about pausing for instructions. I remember when coaching from the sidelines wasn't allowed. Maybe we should go back to that. It would be hard to enforce but would prevent players all going to the bench for a consultation. Taking an outfield player off for a longer period might help reduce the goalkeeper incidents. All other treatment should be off the pitch, unless its due to a foul. |

It's QPR and we've all been here a long time and seen what's gone on before. Compared to six game losing runs an away point during an injury crisis, is a positive. |
