Doesn't taking off a Centre Half lessen our likely-hood of scoring a goal ? |

Lampard should have just risen above the bating. Jestulating to the fans like that just shows that their banter has got to you. As to what happened on the pitch after the game it was just handbags really. Good to see the passion tho. |

They were not bad as No2 choices. Would be a lot easier to break down a 10 man defence if we had a target man to aim for. As for Baz at the end that could have cost us yes,but as the saying goes 'he who dares wins' if it wasn't for a heroic bit of goalkeeping he may have scored the winner. We did our best today with what we have Its a measure of how far we have come since Tonda took over that we are disappointed at not beating the league leaders today. |

'We would have lost by 2 or 3 if they had kept 11 men on the pitch' Cant agree with that,Pat. We threw everything at them and their defence was admirable, but when you have a defence as good as that and you put everyone back in their area its going to be hard to break down particularly when we lack a good Centre Forward with height. When all we have is Archer and Downs to bring on,its going to be hard,I would have preferred to have kept Tall Paul Have to say I love the way Saints play now they give everything with what they have, you cant ask more than that. We probably would have had more of a chance if Coventry had 11 on the pitch,to try and break down 10 behind the ball is hard. Would liked to have seen a fit Ross Stewart out there to day but that's just wishful thinking. January please buy Centre Forward,COYRs |

Scienza and Manning were delivering crosses and unless a 6ft centre half is there they are just wasted No reflection on Armstrong.but hes not going to win many in the air. |

Can someone ask Santa for a big good Centre Forward to play alongside Armstrong. |

Playing out from the back is ok if after a couple of passes it moves forward. |

A minder for Leo wouldn’t be a bad idea. |

Exactly Grim. Twos company threes a crowd. Defence is a major obstacle to our progress. Two Centre Halves and a Goalkeeper who know how to work together. Full Backs, remember them? What Fraser is doing playing there I have no idea. Sort the defence out and buy a good big centre forward. |

Their winner looked to me handball, Baz was beaten by the Norwich players hand. I replayed it numerous times and that was my conclusion. Our defence needs to sort itself out,the centre backs we’re in panic mode every time there was a high ball into our centre. I just can’t get my head round playing with 3 centre halves …. We played a bang on average championship side today and lost. I can see us ending up mid table at best. All three Centre Backs looked all over the place. Fellows was missed today. Stephen’s as Captain is ridiculous he shouldn’t even be in the side. So frustrating, the rollercoaster goes on. |

There is no way we should lose this game. |

Norwich crowd complaining about the penalty, I think they should be down to 10 men.Norwich defender nowhere near the ball. |

One of my earliest memories of watching Saints was as a youngster being taken to Leyton Orient by my uncle to see Saints gain promotion to the First Division ,Terry Paine scored with a header, a rare occurrence that, From then on I rarely missed a game at home and saw quite a few away. Standing on the Milton Terrace in the 70/80s was an experience I will never forget, there was an atmosphere that anything could happen and it often did. London mobs often infiltrated the end and fights ensued. Some Chelsea boys came unstuck one day, but normally there was too many of them. Moved to stand under the West Stand and the Lawrie days as manager brought some of the best players to the Dell Moved to St Marys and had a season ticket for a while but missed a few games due to work so gave it up and don't go as much as I used to Have a brick in the wall there and as it says 'Forever a Saints Fan' Rollercoaster ride as a fan it is,there will never be another. |
