I'd be more than happy with play offs and miss out on going up, in fact for the reasons you state, that would be the preference At least then we could possibly build on that next season |

I'm with Hythe Ferries on this one, he would have been too expensive as opposed to not good enough - that is the SR way My OP was the reference to Norwich getting someone in who was not a household name, and I dare say not too expensive but experienced at football management having been at Bruges, Monaco, Rangers, Genk etc for instance. Ok, that's European experience but surely worth a punt. Oh, he played a fair bit as well |

Looks like they found a decent manager who knows what to do |

I was just coming on here to ask whether we thought we'd ripped Everton off of £40m, and for the 10 minutes hes been on so far and that missed chance just now (and we're knocking AA!!), we definitely did! |

It was the cupping of the ears to them in that 100 yard dash after the sh1t they kept giving him that did it for me! |

Providing we can keep him! He just comes across as someone who really loves his football and not all the "riches" that supposedly goes with it. And with his background you can see why. Could be a cult hero () if he stays and clearly loves the fans |

But we know from last season he cannot do it at Prem level. Although it was a really good effort for the first chance from Bree's cross, he should have scored from the one on one especially when looking at Leo's goal where he fooled the keeper in to thinking he was going one way and went the other, Unfortunatey Armstrong's effort was predictable |

But Leo's celebration along that whole length of the pitch made up for the inbreds lack of a Bbrain cell between them They also showed the nation what a bunch of imbeciles they are as well |

Loved it. The way those to55ers were giving it to him in the first half, he just replied on the best way! |

Leo may just have done that now |

Well he kept the bench warm for the whole 90 minutes plus, so hope no one was there watching him! |

It'll be shop window, but cannot see him coming back (as I think most on here would prefer), but clearly WHammers wnt him off their wage bill |

As 1 teem has said below, it seems it was a thigh injury according the the BBC site "The threadbare Potters are without all four of their forwards - they have scored five goals in their last seven league games - and have also lost new goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu to a thigh injury after just one appearance." |
