'We need to feel the support tomorrow'
at 04:51 24 Jan 2026

There hasn’t been much wrong with the home games over the past few months,so yes they do deserve it.But if you’re a supporter, you should support them through thick and thin. The clue is in the name.

The away allocation can be up to 3,000 supposedly,so I doubt they’ll sell out on a Tuesday night, but who knows these days.

Derby now in a playoff position if they win tonight.Only 20,000 there though.Unless the rest have come dressed as black plastic seats?

Match day programmes- who reads them anyway
at 16:35 23 Jan 2026

If you look at the programmes from the 70’s they were just a few pages with a few photos in them.By the 90’s they’d realised how much they could make on them by filling it full of stuff that nobody really wants to read.Today’s ones are overpriced and full of adverts and news that you can find out online.
It wouldn’t surprise me to see more clubs phasing them out in the coming years.

Charlton sold out

Just don’t make the same mistake as I did for the Fa cup game a few years ago.I was a bit early and instead of going straight to the away end I thought I’d walk the opposite way around the ground.I ended up missing the ko.

I was joking as he never forgets to badger me for the £5 back.

Hello mate.I have most home programmes from the 70’s through to about 2015,but there are a few missing where I’ve given my copy for a special reason, but I’d gladly take them from if you don’t mind.
I give my spares to someone at loftus rd so they won’t go to waste.Do you get to many games,or is postage the only option?

Sorry for the wrong information.I didn’t realise that he’d got rid of it.I rarely have cash on me so I normally have to borrow £5 off my brother, which he is always happy to lend me and never ever mentions it again.

I will be getting my usual copy from Julie outside the Loft on Saturday.39 years and still going strong is a fantastic achievement.
Well done to all involved in producing and selling it,but especially Dave Thomas.

A one stage in the 2nd half they could’ve murdered one of our players and he would’ve waved play on.
The incident with Esquidinha came from him not giving a free kick to us for a push in the back of one of our players.

The 3 sides of a match thread at Oxford

There was one shot from Oxford that bounced off a few cars in the car park, which led to a chorus of “you hit my car,and mine, and mine too.”
Also football in a car park was quite funny.

I was a bit surprised at the amount of vitriol spouted at the final whistle last night.I know we didn’t play well, especially in the 2nd half, but there were some seriously p@ssed off people last night.
I appreciate that the conditions didn’t help anyone, but we tried hard to win it in the 1st half, but seemed to fall to their level in the 2nd half.

I wasn’t at Stoke so it was my first 0-0 of the week.Maybe the people moaning the most also went to Stoke?

Just back
at 00:59 21 Jan 2026

Finally got home from Oxford.I had the pleasure of standing next to Clive tonight and he was very busy writing down notes from notable episodes of the game, and the match report should be a belter.
A 3 hour drive down our various waterlogged motorways was still a more enjoyable experience than the 2nd half.

They don’t check for offside unless it results in a goal or penalty I think. If it goes for a corner the offside doesn’t count for var.

I think Mandy was off his line by the time Diaz kicked the ball, and I’m surprised that var didn’t check it and order a retake.
That is the one angle that hasn’t been shown yet to prove it.

We did nick the Cardiff towels a few years ago at loftus rd,and they were thrown around in R block for a while.

Nobody would know about a medical emergency at cricket until the close of play. They might just be sleeping instead. And I’m a regular cricket spectator.

Main Reason you started following QPR ??
at 07:16 19 Jan 2026

George Best packed up drinking and smoking. He said that was the worst 20 minutes of his life.

We lived in Roehampton and had 3 clubs all within a few mile radius. My mum’s friend was a season ticket holder at QPR and offered to take me to football with him,and the rest is history.
