Whilst I definitely agree with the message in this thread..I’m a little concerned that a fellow Rangers fan could feel so vilified and isolated as a result of reading this thread. It’s clear as day who this is aimed at, but I sense a need to try to be as understanding and tolerant as possible. I think we all need a bit of space and a few apologies wouldn’t be amiss. A good result..and respectable performance tonight would surely help a reset and we won’t have to press any ignore buttons. |

I actually thought that was a really good performance under the circumstances. Whilst I don’t much like the tactic of possibly ( probably?) feigning injuries in order to break up play, consult coaches etc, seems to me this is pretty much the norm. Do I like us doing it? No, obviously, but it’s a pragmatic response to our situation. As far as Stoke? Their problems are none of our business, as, frankly, is their message board, which has a range of responses, I imagine, including those quoted. No, I wouldn’t want this to be our norm…..and I’m pretty sure it won’t be. Instead, let’s focus on the positives..battling performance from our stalwarts at the back and a pretty good showing from Waish again. |

Daft isn’t it but yes I’m a bit down too. I find the Rangers act as a catalyst one way or another. They can turn a grey day blue and white, maybe with a bit of sun, but blimey, it takes a pretty good day not to have a significant damper on it thanks to a game like today.An evening like the Birmingham one gave me and my Rangers supporting sons a really special shared joy..but today, well that’s football..or at least when you support a proper team like we do. It’s so long since we had proper fun supporting the R’s that lasted a season isn’t it. Thought this could be it now..but it isn’t is it? Unless, unless…FA Cup? Come on Julian..at least give us a few weeks of fun for a change. |

I think we need to start checking out the lower reaches of the table. I fear a rather rapid fall from grace. We need a properly annoying championship battler Of the Colbeck or Ball variety to balance the skilful but lightweight players we have in abundance. |

Somewhat surprisingly just qualified for next round of P L cup without playing as Stockport beat Cardiff. Their dream of retaining the trophy lives on in spite of them having a couple of disappointing results recently. Actually good because it surely helps the team spirit especially those now no longer getting in the first team squad as games are competitive. |

Funnily enough if we get a lower team could be a real chance for the Development players assuming the first team contingent can play, and Kolli is fit. If it’s a top team, more balanced with experience, but still a good third youngsters…let’s not overlook tv exposure to terrestrial audience. Whichever, merits serious consideration. |
