A lot of chat since Aberdeen announced their interest in acquiring the services of Stephen Hughes on loan.
Hughes has been blighted with injury for a long period. Although he played in the Norfolk Senior Cup and a few reserve games, according to manager Paul Lambert, Hughes is still a long way from being fully match fit.
Maybe a loan would help achiieve Hughes' match fitness, although there must be a massive question mark over such a deal.
With still 20 games left to play, and as the pressure is about to apply itself as Norwich stays on course for back-to-back promotions, Lambert will want as many players available to him as possible.
Not being sure of the rules for loan signings at this stage of the season, it will be a huge handicap if there is no immediate recall allowance in any contracts.
Althoug we have a numerical advantage in midfield Hughes' experience from his Ragers days will prove useful both on the pitch and in the dressing room.
