Trust on hand at Turnstiles

Dale Supporters Trust would like to announce it's membership has hit over 300 already this season. This amazing figure was achieved before a ball has even been kicked and is a positive recognition of the role fans feel the Trust can play in furthering Rochdale AFC in its 7 year plan.

Indeed, at a recent Fans Forum, Director Andrew Kelly urged as many fans to join the Trust as possible as he, along with the club, feel that a strong Trust with a large membership can be harnessed to good effect to help the club achieve its aims, and in particular aid any initiatives that the club might need assistance with amongst its fan base.

Added to that the Trust has regular contact with the club’s Board of Directors and the Trust feels it can have more of an input into ideas that effect the fans if the Trust can boast greater numbers amongst its ranks.

This season The Trust will welcome several new board members onto its board who wish to work closely with the club and to maintain the good relationship that exists.

It will help The Trust’s cause greatly if more fans can join, and to that end, members of The Trust’s board will be behind the turnstiles distributing membership leaflets, on Saturday afternoon for the visit of Barnet. Please take them home with you and consider joining up for this season to try and break the 500 membership barrier which would represent about 20% of our hardcore support.
