The Swans are interested in Nijmigen frontman Jhon van Beukering, according to NEC's technical director Carlos Aalbers
The striker is attracting interest from his former club De Graafschap and ADO Den Haag, after he expressed his desire to leave NEC in the near future.
The 25 year old has made no secret of his desire to come to Swansea, commenting that he'd 'love' to play in the Championship.
De Beukering scored just four times last season, but managed eleven in the Eredivisie the campaign previously, and has nearly 75 strikes to his name since he made his first team debut for Vitesse in 2001.
"It would be a great adventure, I'd love to ply my trade in the Championship." van Beukering said.
"Swansea have said they are interested, but we haven't received a concrete offer as of yet," technical director Carlos Aalbers said.
"I haven't heard anything from De Graafschap (regarding their interest)."
