Ferrie Bodde's agent Frank Schouten has confirmed that Ferrie Bodde is happy to stay at the club and is negotating a new deal
Bodde only put pen to paper on a new long-term deal last summer but Schouten has confirmed that they are in talks with chairman Huw Jenkins over another new contract.
The 27 year old has attracted bids from both Wigan Athletic and Bolton Wanderers this summer, but neither side have been able to match Swansea's valuation of the midfielder - thought to be around £5m.
The former Den Haag man will return to full training this week after being out of action since last November, when he suffered a knee ligament injury in the 3-2 defeat to Birmingham.
"Ferrie will not hand in a transfer request, I can promise you that. He will only leave if the chairman decides to accept Wigan's offer," Schouten said.
"The talks have gone well.
"There's a good possibility Ferrie will sign a new contract at Swansea because he's happy there."
