Former United starlet and Championship Manager legend Febian Brandy has signed for the remainder of the season.
He joins Dale from Rotherham on a free transfer on a deal that will keep him at Spotland until the end of the 2014-15 season. Having started with Man United, he attracted England call ups at a number of age levels. Since then, he's had spells at a number of clubs, with most appearances coming for Walsall.
Positionally, he sounds perfect for us. Described on the web as being a winger / striker, it sounds like the way we play is made for him, with both Matt Done and Ian Henderson both enjoying a number of goals from there.
Dale fans may have seen Febian Brandy playing at Spotland previously., He once played there for Manchester United in a 2-0 win in a team that featured former Dale loanee Tom Heaton. Brandy stood out as the star performer that night.
