Reports suggest that there is a couple of former Daleys training with the squad out in Tenerife.
If rumours are to be believed, then former Dale duo Marcus Holness and Nathan Eccleston are out with the Dale squad in Tenerife on trial with a view to winning a longer term deal with the club.
Both players' careers have gone somewhat downhill since leaving Spotland.
Holness left Spotland following our relegation back in 2011-2. He had a spell with Burton before joining Tranmere last Summer. They released him during the Summer as they failed to win promotion back to the Football League.
Eccleston came to Spotland during Steve Eyre's brief era. It was one of a number of loan spells whilst at Liverpool. The 25 year old's career last took him to Kilmarnock who he left a couple of weeks ago.
There's been no confirmation about either player being out on trial, although Nathan Eccleston tweeted the following earlier this week:
