In a surprise move, Dale have re-signed Reuben Noble Lazarus on a twelve month deal just a few weeks after releasing him.
After failing to make it to the retained list in April, Noble-Lazarus has today been given another chance at Dale after being given a fresh contract at Spotland weeks after being told his services were no longer required.
His departure in May was hardly surprising as he had been mostly a bit part player during his eighteen month spell with the club, with just ten starts in a Dale shirt.
Talk on the OS would suggest that it was Dale boss Keith Hill who had had a change of fortune and reached out to the former Barnsley winger. Hill has form for this having previously done this with Scott Wiseman many years ago.
