Dale have been given a huge boost this week with the news that Joe Bunney's sending off at Swindon has been rescinded and he will not have to serve the suspected three match suspension as a result.
The current Dale player of the month received his marching orders on Tuesday night after being judged to have comitted violent conduct. After receiving an off the ball challenge, Bunney was deemed to have retaliated and after consultation with the linesman, the referee sent him off.
However, in what seems like the first time in modern times, Dale have won the appeal meaning that he will be able to continue his left role in Saturday's trip to Coventry City.
