Defender Reece Brown has signed a twelve month contract at Dale.
The former Bury man has signed for Dale on a free transfer after leaving Gigg Lane at the end of last season. The 25 year old has chalked up almost a hundred career appearances in a career that started at Old Trafford and has taken in Watford, Sheffield United, Coventry and Barnsley amongst several others.
The signing has an air of the usual broken toy of which Hilly is so fond, and one Bury supporter wrote of this signing "Interesting move by Hill. It makes me think he believes he can instil confidence in Brown that he's lacked at some of his previous clubs. I'd be surprised if he was in the first XI for Dale straight away but he doesn't lack effort or versatility. He just needs a club he can call his home."
