The familiar figure of Andy Haines will referee Friday’s home game versus Wycombe Wanderers.
This means Mr Haines will be taking take charge of his 29th Dale match and the 27th at the Crown Oil Arena/Spotland, which we suspect is probably a record.
We last saw Andy in October for the 1-0 home defeat of Charlton, while last season he took charge of Dale’s 1-1 home draw with Walsall.
His most notable Dale game came on 17th April 2010 when we clinched promotion from League Two with a 1-0 victory over Northampton.
