Barnsley v QPR Betting Preview

The LFW pundits look ahead to this weekend's action as QPR travel to Barnsley and football up and down the country nears its conclusion.

A blank week last time out leaves Brian in profit to the tune of £405.77 while Lewis’ deficit increases to £569.78. With just one more column to go after today chances to improve those totals are starting to run out.

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside – well you know the rest obviously the clean version and not the one where we ask the Baggies to vacate the area in terms not suitable for a family website (family website?? – ed). But this is what a lot of players will be thinking this weekend as they have nothing to play for. Our trip to Barnsley is one of these games and it could go either way and as such I will just plump for first scorer and stick with Hogan to net first.

Sticking with the rules that I have no idea how some teams will play I have been looking for decent single bet this weekend the stand out choice is Man City to win at Arsenal. The Gunners are not the same without Fabregas, have several injuries and a goalkeeper that makes Derek Richardson look like Gordon Banks. The 100/30 odds quoted on City is value. Add to that Adebayor to get the first goal at 13/2 against his former club.

Instead of my normal footie bet I will have a first goal scorer Lucky 15 that to celebrate ST Georges day includes a couple of potential England World Cup players and Darren Bent.

Hello Bud runs in the Bet365 Gold Cup and should give us a run for our cash at 16/1.

Good Luck

For the weekend:
£10 Hogan Ephraim to score 1st at 12/1

£15 Man City to beat Arsenal 10/3
£7.50 Adebayor 1st goal Arsenal V Man City 13/2

50p Lucky 15 1st scorers
Lampard 4/1
Crouch 10/1
Milner 8/1
Bent 5/1

£5 e/w
Bet365 Gold Cup Hello Bud 16/1

Going to have to be an extremely brief one this week – as the QPR game looks like it’s going to be pretty dull and I am insanely busy. It’s been a while since I have had a profitable week - I deserve a break. Hopefully, this week can be the week where my fortunes change.

£15 on under 2.5 goals in QPR vs. Barnsley

£1 Yankee
Gillingham 15-2 (Coral)
Blackpool 4-6 (Skybet)

Wolves vs. Blackburn – 5-2 (Ladbrokes)
Brighton vs. Bristol Rovers – 12-5 (Skybet)

£5 Double
Darren Bent to score anytime for Sunderland – 11-10 (Boylesports)
