Darlo dummy spit doubles ban

Darlington defender Alan White has had his suspension increased after the FA ruled against him for his behaviour following his sending off for a foul on Glenn Murray.

Darlington defender Alan White has had his ban increased as a result of his personal disciplinary hearing with the FA. The former Boston United defender admitted to the charge of improper conduct after he was dismissed by referee Rob Lewis against us during the 3-1 win at Spotland on New Years day.

White had been pushing his luck with the officials throughout the match with the sheer amount of fouls and the backchat he was handing out. And he was finally dismissed with fifteen minutes remaining for a ‘second bookable offence’. Second, being a joke, as it must have been atleast his tenth.

Col described the sending off in his match report as the following “So we soaked up the pressure without too many hair raising moments, and when Alan White was sent off with fifteen minutes to go, we could start considering 5pm league positions as the win was safely secured”.

“White clearly felt aggrieved at the sending off for what was a foul on Murray which earned him a second yellow. Out of all of his challenges, this was perhaps the softest as Murray fell to ground a little easy. But the sheer number of fouls he'd made during the game no doubt persuaded the referee.”

“There was a serious dummy spit moment as he lost the plot, with his own players trying to prevent him from confronting the ref, and he practically needed dragging from the pitch. As he made his way towards the tunnel, he took exception to something that McEvilly had grunted at him, though he'll count his blessings that he didn't get the chance to square up to Evil. Well would you?”

White will now be forced to sit out three fixtures, instead of the original two.
