The Liverpool official is in his third full season on the national list, meaning he referees in the National League, League One, League Two and the various cups.
His most recent game was Scunthorpe v Aldershot at the end of October, while Dale has already been to Tamworth this season, overseeing their 1-0 defeat of Yeovil in September.
Dale’s most recent Dale game was our 1-0 win over Gateshead at the Crown Oil Arena in March, while in 2023/24 he refereed our visit to Hartlepool (won 3-2) and the home game versus Maidenhead (won 1-0).
Dale has significant footballing pedigree in that he is the brother of former Wigan and Everton defender Leighton Baines, who made 582 appearances at club level before retiring in 2020.
His six matches this season have yielded 20 yellow cards
