Dale have brought in a new goalkeeper on non contract terms following an injury to back up keeper Matty Edwards.
Edwards has picked up another hand injury and is expected to be ruled out of first team action for a number of weeks. Edwards has been a permanent fixture on the bench this season, as back up to the impressive Josh Lillis.
So Dale boss Keith Hill has acted sharply and has signed keeper Ryan Jones on a free transfer, on non contract terms to provide cover for Lillis. Jones is an 18 year old keeper who most recently was on the books at Leeds United.
Jones will take his place on the Dale bench for this afternoon's visit to stadium:mk.
