Wrexham lost in 6th place. We are only 4 points off 6th place. There are a lot of teams, between us and 6th place, but we have some favourable fixtures. I think we could do it.
Larin was excellent today when he came on. His experience showed when he took the ball to the corner flag in the 93rd minute. He's strong, tall, a great header of the ball. He's going to be a handful. He scored 30 goals in 80 odd appearances for his country. He has played in La Liga and other top leagues. A messy, forgettable but vital win today.

We will have to out perform 8 teams to reach them, and I think it’s too much of a stretch for us.

Is it my memory, or is that the first time we have a striker score a goal like that? he is big and brave, judges the flight of the ball very well. In fact he could have had another, but the defender in front of him cleared it. But when you watch the replay he was bang on again in judging the flight of the ball and was diving downward to reach it. He could be just the sort of big annoying poacher we need in this league.

When I suggested all this about Larin people questioned me . Stats are stats no matter what the opposition , Larin has scored a lot of goals in his career for club and country. That is FACT. It doesn’t matter how long ago it was or what the opposition was.
As for the play offs yes we can do it for sure but we would just be lambs to the slaughter again if we got promoted without a massive increase in spending from our owners so what’s the answer ? [Post edited 8 Feb 9:08]

There’s only 1 spot to play for as we won’t be catching Millwall. I don’t think we will make it as we are a hot and cold team. But if we beat Leicester on Tuesday we then have a run of easier games. The biggest frustration is that we haven’t played this formation from the start of the season. Also we should of kept Tall Paul he would score a hatful |  |

Unless they show a change in their thinking no
Having said that we spent over 40 million just to stand still when we signed Harwood Bellis and Downes on permanent contracts. When Fulham, Brighton, Bournemouth and Brentford can afford to spend more money than you it shows that the landscape has changed, most of us are old enough to remember them all being in the 4th division
To answer the original question, yes we can, there's still 45 points to be played for.
Having a larger squad of players certainly helps as we play six games in April alone
I'm much happier with the formation we have at the moment and I think James Bree and Wellington coming back into the side has been key to our improvement, two proper fullbacks who can actually defend and a keeper who makes saves that you'd expect him to make
I'll be very happy to be proven wrong about Larin, he's already contributed more to our season than Downs did |  |

Nothing wrong with being a yo-yo team if you win the Championship. I'd be quite happy if we went up and came back down better prepared to win it. You have the thrill of the play-off final as well. Such highlights are few and far between in our history. | |

Didn't the owners say that next time we go up they will seek extra investors to put money in? If this is the case then best we go up ASAP and then just spend gazzillions in the summer. Without pushing it to admin and points deduction levels. If that is even possible. | | | |

I think one or two people are getting carried away with all this play-off talk. We should be much more realistic and settle for a mid-table finish and winning the FA Cup. [Post edited 8 Feb 20:39]
