would have preferred Hill but unlikely to start every week. Park is probably the most level headed and appropriate player; doubt he is gobby enough on the pitch though.
give it back to Taarabt, we won the league last time he was captain
Big fish in a small pond last time.. Now he's a young medium fish in a decent sized medium to large pond.. Other fish will not follow which way he swims
Can't see it being Nelsen, more likely to be Anton if it's a C/B. IMO
Anton has enough on his plate trying to concentrate on the game without worrying about what the other 10 are doing. He needs orders barking at him; not a leader in any shape or form.
always looks better with a 'talkative' CB alongside him.
problem being the 2 CB's that fit the description are unlikely to be regulars so unlikely to be captain.

Which just shows how little the captaincy really means to a team, compared to how much it means to fans. Hill doesn't need to be captain because he'll act like one anyway. Nelsen is unlikely to be a regular and will almost certainly be injured most of the time, which rules him out. It should probably be Faurlin, but suspect it'll be Park, and I'd be happy with that - model pro.
Well judging by the nightclub leaving photos, Cisse doesn't look like he'll be captain, certainly not wearing the trousers anyway!
Think Park is a logical choice as he will probably start whenever fit I imagine... Hill and Neslon maybe not guaranteed a place enough..but maybe better Captains on paper..
Personally i never much understood the furore about captain...just means you get to call the toss.. but as said by others, those vocal players will still be vocal..
