There was a fee of £3m being banded about for a permanent transfer and a loan move is WBA's choice so they clearly value him highly.

McAuley is getting on a bit now and Olssen is out of contract at end of season so hopefully if he does well at Bolton he'll get a chance off Clarke when he goes back. |  |

Im staggered that Clarke hasn't given Dawson a chance, especially after recent defensive lapses v Reading and Villa. Without a proper run of games he's not going to know how he'll do? Loan move to Bolton is better than unused frigging sub every week. | |

I thought when he went to West Brom it was the perfect club for him, as there isn't huge expectations there, and they're not going to have huge stars to push him down the pecking order, but not long after he was signed, I think at least 2 CB's were signed, pushing him down unfortunately | |
