I know Tuesday is our traditional midweek game due to the old days of Early Closing Day, but would it not have made more sense for us to arrange the Notts County game for a Wednesday rather than the Tuesday given United are in Champs Lge action. I know many will understandably say that we should take a "sod them" attitude to that, but reality will see a crowd of possibly as low as 2000-2500 on Tuesday night, whilst the Wednesday might have seen another 300 on the gate. Whilst its not a decision that those on here will have to make, but there will be some out there with the decision to stop in and watch United or go to Spotland and pay close to £20 to watch Dale. |  |
