The duplicity of these dinosaurs is only superceded by their arrogance.
In an age when whether it be sport ,news or whatever tickles your fancy there are a multitude of outlets to choose from, the imposition of a TV licence to be able to use a piece of electrical equipment in your own home is nothing more than a state tax.
We have evolved from 99% of the population listening to a newsreader with a posh accent and dicky bow to todays generation that see the BBC as purely optional viewing but still have to pay the licence fee.
