JACKARMY.net POSTER PROFILE - Jobbie

Poster Profiles - Jobbie

There has been a couple of requests on the message board recently for poster profiles. With pure_rock_fury working his way through opposition profiles and having produced an absolute gem of a series of player profiles for the fanzine, we thought we could build on that tradition.

It's fair to say that not everyone has the same abilities as PRF for producing this kind of thing but at the moment this is the best that we can come up with. If you feel that you can do better then do so - but in the meantime read on to the first poster profile - Jobbie

PS adds - JackArmy.net accepts no liability for the inaccuracy of any poster profile. They are written with humour in mind and we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information contained nor the similarity in the pictures used.

POSTER PROFILE - JOBBIE

Jobbie was born in Swansea back in 1963 and christened Jobbert Nathaniel Singeon-Smythe by his mother - a 'big wig' on the local pub scene who came up with the idea whilst watching regulars play on the trivia machine in her pub - a well known haunt for the local mafia.

Being born into such an atmosphere prepared Jobbert well for later life which was to see him leave school at the age of 12 having already accomplish 11 'O' levels in such wide ranging subjects such as "How to hate the Spanish and all they stand for" and "Patience in dealing with those younger than yourself" Having such an academic record meant that university was not for Jobbert, nor was further education and he proceeded to set up his own business counselling those who fell foul of teenage pregnancy. It was a short lived business as word soon spread of his intolerance of the subject and after just eleven days his business shut down.

What was the soon to be 13 year old going to do from there? Well his education had stood him in good stead so he felt that gainful employment would just be around the corner as he headed off to his local Job Centre. And as he entered the doors of the establishment his life was to take on an unexpected turn. The advert was there and it jumped out at him - he had all the qualifications "a patience with those less fortunate than himself" "an understanding that everyone had a place in society" and "ability to strike at least once a month" Jobbert had his job and it was there and then that he parked himself behind the desk in the job centre - and he rarely has moved since then.

Some of that lack of movement was down to what he calls the rubbing off of the mentality of the place and some of it was down to the fact that never did he think he would find something so easy and something that made him feel so much better than everyone else.

And it was behind that very desk that Jobbert first found his way onto the internet. No different from any youth of his age he tapped into Google 'complete c ' and straight away he found himself given two options - Mansfield and Bury's board. And from there it was just a click away from JackArmy.net and his love affair was formed.

It's not been all job seekers and internet posting for Jobbert though, he did have a spell on Big Brother in 2004 (pictured) but clearly the effort involved was too much for the big man and he soon got himself evicted.

When he is not posting on the web site you are most likely to find Jobbert vegetating in front of the television but we have nothing to back up the trousers around the ankles part so we won't bother stating that.
