Rams To Bounce Back At Yeovil - RamZone Match Preview
Rams To Bounce Back At Yeovil - RamZone Match Preview

After the frustrations on the Leicester game I expect Clough to bring back Jamie Ward for the game away to Yeovil. It will probably be for Coutts as Clough never seems willing to not start with one of Hughes, Bryson and Hendrick.

Personally, I think Bryson and Hendrick have had inconsistent starts to the season and the question of balance and formations is still an issue. May be the system is more suited to playing away from Pride Park.

Derby probably created enough half chances to get at least a draw against Leicester who clearly came to defend and hope they could nick a goal. Their plan worked. Although derby passed the ball round well at times I never quite got the feeling we were going to equalise.

After winning this opening game, Yeovil has lost their last two, so hopefully Derby can capitalise on this. They have had goalkeeper trouble with their regular keeper breaking his hand in the first game.

However, they seem to have been able to sign Hennessey on loan from Wolves in time for this game. They are also looking to bring back striker Williams from Swindon who was their leading scorer 2 seasons ago.

Hopefully will be able to put another unbeaten run together and if Derby and Clough are serious about challenging for the top 6, then surely we have to be winning games like this. Derby will take a full following to Yeovil so it should be a good atmosphere.

I am going to put last week’s frustrations behind me, stick my neck out and go for a Derby win!
