Huge news from Spotland on Friday when it was confirmed that Harrison McGahey and Andy Cannon had signed new contracts.

There had been huge concerns amongst the fanbase that we would lose the services of two of our better players. The duo were both out of contract, and would have both attracted many admirers last season.

McGahey started more League games last season for Dale than any other player, whilst Cannon suddenly came to life at the start of 2018 and was without question our stand out player from the turn of the year to the point where he was ruled out for the rest of the season with a broken cheekbone.

McGahey has signed a two year deal with the club, whilst Cannon has signed a one year club.
