Despite protestations that there would be no more deals taking place in the loan window, Dale have secured the loan services of Zach Clough on loan from Forest.

Well the story was that Sam Hart was the last of our signings, and following a million indications that Sam Hart was not a striker, Keith Hill pulled a rabbit out of the bag by bringing in former Bolton striker Zach Clough.

Clough joins us on loan until January from Nott'm Forest. He comes to the club with a decent reputation with Dale supporters well aware of his time at Bolton the season before last where he scored 9 goals in 17 starts to earn him a £3,000,000 move to Forest.

His time at Forest hasn't been the greatest of successes with four goals from 27 games, with over half of those coming off the bench. He returned to Bolton last season on loan, scoring 1 goal in nine appearances.
