For this weekend's trip to Roots Hall, we have referee Graham Horwood in charge, and we'll all be hoping that it'll be a bit more successful than when we had him earlier in the season.

As if playing away at Southend in the FA Cup isn’t bad enough, the FA have decided to make us even more cheerful by reuniting Dale with referee Graham Horwood.

Mr Horwood, in his first season in the middle, refereed Dale’s game at Hereford in August when he made the ridiculous decision to send off David Perkins, among a catalogue of other bizarre calls.

I can imagine Keith Hill is jumping for joy at the very thought of meeting this referee again …. NOT!
