Town Apologise for Ipswich Player Problem

Town have apologised to users of their Ipswich Player online service for the lack of match commentary during Saturday’s game at Crystal Palace. Subscribers to Ipswich Player get to hear Radio Suffolk’s coverage of Town’s fixtures.

A club spokesperson told TWTD: “The problems with Ipswich Player over the weekend were caused by technical issues with our web providers Perform Group, and were not caused by either us or BBC Suffolk. The problems were across their network and not confined to Ipswich.

“We are very disappointed that this has happened, especially when the rest of the content, video interviews and action highlights packages etc, are now of such a good quality. We would like to pass on our apologies to everyone affected and to reassure them that we are taking all possible steps to ensure it doesn't happen again. “We've set up an email address so that subscribers can pass on comments to us direct. We would welcome any constructive ideas on what they'd like to see on Ipswich Player - what sort of features they'd like us to try to include or what doesn't work for them. Email us at ipswich.player@itfc.co.uk.”
