After his heroic Devon Loch finish to the Cem Fantasy Football league, messageboard regular DaleAddict has set a Euro 2008 Fantasy league up to help raise funds for Ernie Cooksey.

Please include your name or internet alias with your team so that I know who's who.

Player List

The entry fee for each team is £5. £2.50 of this will go to the Cooksey fund with the other £2.50 going into a prize fund. The hardest thing is going to be collecting the money as I probably won't see many of you.

Within reason I can collect cash from Rochdale residents next week or you can pay by bank transfer to my account if you indicate on your email that's how you want to pay (probably the easiest option for exiles etc).

However, I thought it might be a good idea if as many as possible could watch the opening games in Dale Bar next Saturday (5pm kick off) and we can collect cash then.

It's not essential that we get all the cash in by the start of the tournament but hopefully everyone will be able to pay by the end so that we can get the money to Ernie and to the winners ASAP.

Your 11 man team can be either 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 and must not exceed the spending limit of 75million. All entries must be received by the start of the tournament, which is 5pm next Saturday 7 June. There is no limit to the number of players you can have from any one team.

Appeared as a substitute and was taken off during 90 mins: +1
Goal: +5 (excluding penalty shoot-out)
Penalty scored in a shoot-out: +3
Penalty missed: -3 (including shoot-outs)
Assist (excluding own goals): +3
Sent off: -5
Booked: -2
Own goal: -3

Goalkeepers/Defenders
Clean sheet (played full match): +4
Clean sheet (played part match): +2
Penalty save: +5 (including shoot-outs)
Goal conceded: -1 (not including shoot-outs)

Transfers

The game consists of five rounds:
The first round of group games: Begins Sat 7 June 5pm
Second round of group games: Begins Wed 11 June 5pm
Third round of group games: Begins Sun 15 June 7.45pm
The Quarter-Finals: Begins Thurs 19 June 7.45pm.
The Semi-Finals & Final: Begins Weds 25 June 7.45pm.

Each team is permitted three transfers before the start of each round. Transfers must be made by email (DaleAddict@hotmail.com) before the round kicks off.

Please get as many of your friends and family as possible to send in teams. The more people that take part the more money for Ernie and the more money in the prize fund.
