Indeed the last thing we want is anything that sparks a row. |

Most know, some, including myself, wandered down for a looksee, have a gawk at Yes in 1975. But, recently discovered (read this morning), that a group called the Midnites appeared during the 66 / 67 season. A local band apparently, anyone there, ever see 'em, have some vinyl? Bet they were Mods. [Post edited 30 May 20:45]

Coincidentally... The Who played a benefit gig at the Valley for the Davis family. A bloke around the corner from me, Steve Moyse, was so influenced(!) by the event he spray painted a wall on East Lane, just before North Wembley bridge, 'The Who took Charlto'. That's right, ran out of space. Might still be there today😀 BTW. After Davis got out(yes he was a villain, just stitched up for that particular case), he divorced his wife and married a Chief Inspector's daughter. [Post edited 29 May 16:36]

Y'know why you should never judge someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes? Coz you're a mile away with a new free footwear. |

A few years ago, we had a pedestrian hit and killed in Central Park NY by a cyclist who was racing to beat his quickest time to work. She was actually the wife of a 'someone', but nothing came of it, no jail time, just a slap on the wrist for the gent who, according to numerous witnesses, berated the dying women for getting in his way when she had the right of way at a crossing. It's beyond a joke. |
