Thread | Non-renewer's seat, Can it be transferred to another friend?

A close relative who has sat next to me since the stadium opened, is having to miss next season through ill health. The guy who sits on the other side of the newly vacant seat, who is also a friend of mine, has asked me to reserve it for his son. I don't know if this can be done.. Does anyone have an idea if it's possible? |

Given the rarity of penalty decision's being given in our favour. Is it time to commemorate such occasions with plaque's conveniently placed on a Stadium wall, well placed, and in full view of incoming officials.
Or what about a clock with 'time since last penalty' displayed on it.
Any other ways we could shame the referee's into playing fair?

Considering how poor the opposition was for 88 minutes this was our worst performance of the season, too many players not even fussed about making tackles.
Naughton and Carroll deserve a special mention for giving me hope that at 67 there could be a future for me in the Premier League.
Well done Ollie, and the others who came on late in the game, without them we would have had zero points. |

Thread | American acceptance of relegation

It appears to me from this appointment, that not only do the americans now accept relegation, but they can now justify not spending their hard earned funds in January.
Carvalhal's hiring is more about a return to our more traditional passing style, this is not likely to produce immediale benefits in terms of points. So there will be little need for any serious expenditure in the January window.
It's all a good excuse for not spending, but watch them cash in whenever possible. |

In the EPL. So what sort of attendances would we be pulling in at the Liberty if there wasn't 16,000 season ticket holders, 3,000 away fans, and everyone needed to pay on the day. ( like it used to be years ago, and like it will be in coming years )
My feelings are that the current team are providing the least quality that I've seen since Harry Gregg was manager in the earl y 1970's. So I would say if everyone had to pay on the day, we would probably get something around 6 or 7,000 home fans for a game like West Brom.
On another point, surely Chelsea are getting concerned about Tammy's further development, after all, this is certainly not a regime in Swansea which is fully utilising or encouraging attacking flair.

I would be interested in fans views taking in the following reasonable scenario.
We are adrift of safety by six points or more at the end of January with little hope of improvement.
Since it would require a certain amount of culling for parachute payments to cover wages, could we effectively be just 9 or 10 weeks from the club being worth nothing?
and could that outcome be a positive or negative thing for real fans in the long term. |
