Get him in the first team squad as fast as possible as Cullen's on fire . . Following on from his recent hat-trick he got another 4 yesterday against Everton and certainly knows where the goal is having scored 10 goals in 4 games and 17 for the Season. . .I'm sure some Premier League Scout will come sniffing very shortly.
Just been mentioned on Sky Sports . . ."Conor Gallagher has completed his medical at Swansea City and his loan move from Chelsea is likely to be confirmed later this afternoon"
If we are on the look out for a new Keeper maybe either of these two could be interesting choices as they are both up for grabs - Fraser Forster and Alex McCarthy both of Southampton
Anyone think we have an outside chance of the Play Offs ? . .think again as March/April promises to be a rough ride.with consecutive games against, Norwich(A) WBA (A) Derby (H) Notts Forest (A) and Brentford (H) re-arranged 2nd April Middlesbrough (H) . .I'm also afraid this will prove the lack of depth in the squad too thanks to the Yanks total lack of investment.
Whatever our feelings about events off the pitch we need to be right behind Potter and the lads on Saturday and keep any protests for either before or after the game. We have a hard enough task with a threadbare team, thanks to our inept transfer policy, so the last thing our team needs is to hear the fans venting their anger against the Board on Saturday whilst the game is going on. We need to stay united in our quest to get rid of the Yanks but always remember that we as fans are the heart of Swansea City and need to be there for the team through both good and bad times.
Congratulations to Newport on yet another fantastic display with a performance and Goals of Premiership quality . . . Good luck and another great money spinner now against ManC
With everything that has happened and with an uncertain future ahead for our great Club will GP stay beyond the end of this Season as I am sure his services will be in demand as he has already started getting a young team back playing the Swanselona way and with a couple of shrewd acquisitions during this last transfer window we could have even had a play off place in our grasp. My worry is that someone will come calling who are in a far better place than us and we will lose a potential gem in GP . .Any thoughts
ON TWITTER THIS MORNING......IS THE DEAL GOING DOWN OR IS IT STILL A LOAD OF B******S !!!
J.J @jjbtdc247 · 10h Replying to @PhilHayYEP and 2 others Close to an agreement or nowhere near? Phil Hay @PhilHayYEP it’s like this. Club have been confident but even forgetting them, I spoke to someone close to James yesterday who said it will “100% get done” (his words not mine, just so we’re clear). It’s been hanging that way since last week. Question now is whether it’ll actually go through
Can't help thinking that Prutton on Sky hates us just a much as that W****R Lawrenson . . .Each and every week he cannot bring himself to give us the points and the merit we deserve . . Let's prove him wrong tomorrow and stuff United.
Heard that Celina hasn't travelled to be with the Kosovo team due to an injury . .will be a big loss if we lose him now with three big games coming up. . .anyone heard anything ?
Only a small cameo appearance but personally thought he looked strong and decisive and well worth a punt at Stoke and Boro to add some steel to our midfileld (what's left of it !!)
BREAKING NEWS on SKY NOW . . . Sam Clucas’ proposed move from Swansea to Burnley has fallen through, Sky Sports News understands. An £8m move had been agreed between the two clubs, but the player has failed to agree personal terms.
He obviously went for the money and it's backfired so now we should surely back the Manager and go and get Woods anyway as he looks a quality player. i still we need another Striker too as we need firepower this Season as it will make all the difference to where we end up .
I for one am getting totally fed up with our Clubs total lack of activity in the Transfer Window . . Once again it looks as though we are bereft of ideas and are looking again for last minute bargain basement signings which shows no ambition in getting us back up at the first attempt into the Premiership. Surely something MUST be done to eradicate this senseless lack of ambition Season after Season after Season . . We have a new young energetic Manager in at the helm who is looking to get us back to our old playing style but once again this Board appears to have given him no financial backing at all leaving him to make excuses for the state of the Transfer Market etc and how hard it is to attract the right type of player to the Club when surely the right investment will get the right player in at a time where they can blend into the existing squad. I fear for the start of our Season currently with the injuries and uncertainty around some of our key players and just hope we do not have another lacklustre Season to look forward to.
