Rangers v Morherwell in the Scottish Play off final - part wants Rangers to win to see them achieve their rise through the leagues but be good to see the best supported team doesn't always win!
I think League One is absolutely wide open next season. If Wigan are signing the likes of Perkins I don't see them as the 'big money' spenders, Millwall will be much of a muchness, I might have fancied Sheff U with Clough but without it'll take a new manager time, Swindon looked gash, none of the clubs coming up look that good and if Rochdale and Fleetwood were top half I'd say it's there for the taking! (nb. Though probably not by us!)
Glad we have a majority government - prepared to see what the Tories can do. Politics won't miss drippy Milliband, Balls and Clegg and delighted Farage can't stick his snout in the trough!!
Lifted from TWTD website - seems they all know what's going on in football with the O's!!
Was fairly confident that we would win on Saturday before the wind of change at Bloomfield Road but new Manager syndrome does seem to hit ITFC quite often. At Derby last year we were cruising until McLaren stepped in and Derby were a different side. Clark is obviously not in the same bracket as McLaren but he will instil enthusiasm into your team to start with anyway. On another of Blackpool forums it reflects a popular figure in Riga and a disrespect for Oyston. Riga was a decent manager at Charlton so are we right to suspect that Mr Oyston is the problem. Back to the game lets hope its the cracker it was last season with ITFC winning of course. Always had a soft spot for Blackpool and watched therm on more than one occasion when visiting the illuminations. Will be there again Saturday so good luck after then.
If you had to sit down and write down our best starting XI who would be in there? I still struggle especially in midfield and up front to come up with a team that I feel confident could progress up this league.
So who would be your best XI and leave out positions you feel we still need to cover.
Was reading our wiki Prem season entry - loads of interesting stuff on there. The league table still does depress me - if we'd hung on against Blackburn for the win at Ewood ... who knows!
Not being a run chaser here, but do Blackpool fans think Bolton are in a worse mess than we are? Surprised they still getc15,000 but the fans seem to hate the Chairman and the manager and haven't they got debts of around £50 million? OK we're not in a good place but think I'd sooner be a lasher than a trotter!
Wasn't there but I remember listening to our penalty shoot out similar to Liverpool last night when it went to the keepers (and maybe beyond) - did Steve Banks score?
Sean Gregan for me - hated his arrogant, cocky, ugly, PNE face! Loved it when he had a bad game at Bloomfield Road. Don't seem to exist much any more - unless they're nowadays in our side!!
Answer: Don't give our players any time on the ball. Has everyone else noticed that either Championship sides are now closing us down quicker or they've all got the measure of us?
Our passing let's us down and our inability to break quickly and with pace is disappointing. Problem is midfield where Perkins and Lundstram have got a bad case of Back Pass Barry-itis!!
